Grief filled the streets of Bannu on Wednesday as thousands gathered to mourn the victims of a deadly suicide attack that killed 18 people, including six children. The assault took place on Tuesday when militants drove two vehicles packed with explosives into a military base in the northwestern town. According to the military, multiple suicide blasts caused part of the base's outer wall to collapse, damaging nearby buildings, including a mosque and residential areas.
